It's nice to meet you!
Hi, I’m the quilter and pattern designer behind this shop, plus a dedicated iced coffee enthusiast.
My love for sewing started with my grandma and a high school quilting class, but it truly reignited during the pandemic. After stepping away from the corporate world, I found myself working at a fabric shop, where I picked up all kinds of sewing tricks and discovered a passion for writing patterns.
Now, I create modern quilt patterns and practical sewing projects. Think bags, kitchen accessories, and more, that are made to be fun, approachable, and just a little bit quirky. (Fun fact: I sew with my left foot thanks to an old back injury. My right foot’s officially retired.)
My goal is to spark your creativity and help you make things you’ll actually use and love. Stick around for new patterns, sewing tips, and the occasional caffeine-fueled project disaster. I'm so glad you're here!
Fun facts about me 🥰
When I’m not at my sewing machine, you’ll probably find me playing board games with my husband (he’s also the better cook, and I’m okay with that), camping, beach-lounging, or getting roped into helping with one of his DIY projects. I love thrifting with my best friend, taking photos just for fun, and being outside as much as possible. Just don’t hand me a video game controller, the motion sickness is real. RIP Minecraft.
I’m obsessed with my Breville Bambino, it’s compact enough for our tiny kitchen but still pulls a seriously good espresso. I use Costco beans (they’re way underrated!), and most mornings start with a double shot poured over lactose-free milk and a splash of vanilla syrup. It’s my little ritual before diving into a day of sewing and creating.
It’s either my ever-changing Spotify Daylist (heavy on the Taylor Swift and slenderbodies) or true crime podcasts like Crime Junkies, depends on the mood. Sometimes it’s a dance party, sometimes it’s “let’s solve a mystery while seam ripping.” Either way, there’s always something playing in the background while I stitch.
Back to the Future II
I’m an INFP, and honestly, my friends and I became way too obsessed with personality types during the pandemic. It’s become a game—whenever we meet someone new, we’ll try to guess their type. Spoiler: We’ve all diagnosed me with ADHD, which definitely explains a lot. The constant creative ideas? That’s the INFP in me. The “did I just forget what I was doing?” moments? Definitely the ADHD.
