Why I Make Things That Don't Have Arms.
Let’s be real for a second: Bags don’t complain when they don’t fit.
I love clothes, but designing them for other people? As a recovering people-pleaser and a certified introvert, that’s a level of human interaction I’m just not ready for. I’m here for the zipper pouches, the tote bags, and the quilts. Why? Because a handmade bag fits everyone perfectly. They use less fabric, they make the world's best gifts, and they never make you feel like you need to change your body to enjoy them.
My Journey
My journey into the sewing world started long before I could even reach the foot pedal. I spent my childhood watching my Vovo, a professional seamstress, turn my wild sketches and bag designs into reality. She taught me that fabric could be anything you imagined. By high school, a sewing class introduced me to the mathematical art of quilting, and I was hooked. But it was during the chaos of 2020 that everything clicked. Working at a local quilt shop gave me the entrepreneurial footing I needed; it’s where I learned the inner workings of the industry and discovered my true calling: writing patterns that actually make sense.
But here’s the thing: in a world of $25 patterns and "perfect" aesthetic sewing rooms, I’ve decided to be the Anti-Hero. I remember being a student and feeling gatekept by high prices, so I’m committed to keeping my patterns accessible and my tutorials free. My process isn't "curated". It’s fuelled by double-shots of espresso, ADHD hyper-focus, and a deep-seated belief that tacos are a food group. Creating patterns gives my busy brain a beautiful purpose, and while my sewing room is messy 90% of the time, the results are always solid. My vision is to create a space where the craft of sewing is modern, affordable, and inclusive. Whether you’re here for a zipper pouch or a full-sized quilt, I’m just a girl trying to make her Vovo proud, one handmade corn tortilla and one imperfect stitch at a time.

The "Sous-Chef" of My Success
Behind every pattern designer who forgets to eat because she's hyper-focused on a new project is a partner who makes sure she survives the day.
Meet my husband: the resident foodie, the keeper of the kitchen, and the reason I’m regularly blessed with the world’s best cooking. While I’m obsessing over my current sewing project, he’s hand-pressing corn tortillas and simmering something delicious on his cast iron pans. He’s the grounding force to my creative whirlwind—and the primary reason I don't have to live exclusively off of iced coffee and instant ramen (though I’d probably try).
Every pattern you buy is indirectly fueled by his delicious creations. It’s a team effort!
